Turkey Project 2K06und07 is now complete. Repeat. Turkey Project complete.

Last night I prepared the last of the turkey. It was leftover chili that had been frozen about a month ago.

Below I have listed all 22 meals that were yielded from the turkey. By the end of the week I will post which meals were rated as my favorites. I think that I'll do a top 5. If people out there want me to rank and order all 22 I can do that but I'll wait to see if there is a need before taking on that task.

The project was a huge success and if anyone has a big turkey they're trying to get rid of please call me first. I have enjoyed the experiment and found that there are many many ways to enjoy turkey. It was a lot of fun.

m1.0 (12/10/2006) - For pre-meal dessert a slice of Mint Ginger Raspberry, Wild Blueberry, and Strawberry pie. Steamed corn, broccoli, and cauliflower.
Turkey leg and breast meat and little bites here and there from the platter.

m2.0 (12/11/2006) - An ear of corn boiled with parsley and ground pepper. 2 saltine crackers with homemade quacamole. A turkey (white with a little dark), roasted red pepper and onion, a small application of parmesean, parsley and pepper, and quacamole panini thing on wheat bread. And an after dinner slice of pie.

m3.0 (12/12/2006) - A guacamole toasted turkey sandie with dark meat, provolone, tomato slices, parsley and pepper, and a smear of quac. Served with steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots - a little parsley and pepper and salt too. Followed up with a slice of pie.

m4.0 (12/13/2006) - Baked Buttermilk Turkey Fingers: Pre-dinner strawberries with vanilla yogurt. Parsley and pepper corn. Some tomatoes and carrots. Soda crackers and quacamole. Turkey fingers marinated in butter, milk, black pepper, cayenne pepper, some lemon, and Texas Pete hot sauce. Then breaded with Vigo bread crumbs, corn meal, pepper and cayenne pepper, some salt and some pepper.

m5.0 (12/14/2006) - Yum Stuffed Pepper (Red): Roasted red pepper stuffed with turkey which was heated up on the stove with sauteed onion, fresh pressed garlic, salt, pepper, parsley, a little bit of beet juice, lemon squirt, chopped tomato, and a little tomato paste, and also a little bit of some fancy-style shredded white cheese. Served with cracked wheat crackers and guac. And finished off with a slice of pie.

m6.0 (12/15/2006) - A panini-style grilled turkey sandwich on the wheat with grilled onions and red pepper, provolone cheese, and jalapeno pepper jelly. Served with corn and green beans steamed with pepper, sea salt, and freshly dried rosemary.

m7.0 (12/16/2006) - Turkey omelette in bag with grilled onions and peppers, parmesean cheese, pepper, and just a tad of rosemary. A piece of toast that had a quarter sized hole in it straight out of the bag. Toast was used to make a omelette sandie with half of the omelette. Some sliced up cherry tomatoes. And vanilla yogurt topped with wild blueberries. And coffee cause it was breakfast.

m8.0 (12/16/2006) - Regular old turkey and ham sandwich with yellow mustard and provolone cheese and a little fresh ground pepper. Served with 3 carrots. Dessert of a pear and a slice of pie.

m9.0 (12/17/2006) - Yum Stuffed Pepper (Orange #1) (cf. m5.0, 12/14/2006) next to a bed of quick cook barley and a scoop of guacamole. Two cracked wheat crackers with guac. And a sliced up pear.

m12.0 (12/29/2006) - Test Batch BBQ served on a Dixie brand paper plate with leftover Christmas day sweet potato souffle and stuffing and a roll. Test Batch BBQ was prepared with the reserved test batch Ziploc pouch of turkey meat as well as 2 bits of dark meat, 5 slices of packaged turkey bacon (diced), sauteed onions and garlic, Albino Skunk 2004 Secretion BBQ sauce, some apple cider vinegar, butter, a squirt of lemon, several splashes of worcestershire, and finally salt and pepper.
