10:43 PM >> Unbelievers

For those of you that are still unbelievers in the reality of the Ziplete I give you this action photo. The picture is my father in mid-slip. Mid-slip refers to the moment when the Ziplock omelette is released from the bag that has been boiling and onto the plate. Notice the action of his hand moving from the bag - the steam can be hot.

Also be looking at the perfection of the omelette. It is beautiful. Perfect. And, ladies, no it doesn't taste like plastic.

10:10 PM >> Lucky crossing guard

As an oversized stocking stuffer I got my brother, the middle one, a crossing guard statue that I found at an oriental store that carries all sorts of lucky oriental figurines like lucky cat, lucky buddha, and for the kiddies - lucky crossing guard.

While trying to show him the bendability of the handheld stop sign I totally snapped the statue and the sign broke off. Some Christmas present huh. Santa would have truly been disappointed.

I promised to fix the problem with super glue. Well the one time use only super glue dispenser that I had had some more life in it after re-affixing the stop sign. So I searched around for some things that I could attach to the statue.

Here's what I added:
a) the stop sign
b) a match
c) a Paulaner beer bottle cap
d) a clothes pin with a brass brad and a push pin attached (near posterior)
e) a personal holiday dedication on the statue's base in red Sharpie (now with chisel tips!).

Brother, I hope you like the additions to the gift I F'ed up. And by the way YOU were the ruiner of Christmas this year. That Coke you dropped on the counter Christmas morning was the reason. You are the winner this year. But there'll be more, oh, yes, plenty more to come.

5:41 PM >> Brown ones

Me and my new brown glasses. My favorite REI book bag, the Freelancer (as far as I can tell the model has been discontinued), was stolen from my truck a couple of weeks ago. So I had to go out and replace all the theftied items. The glasses were replaced. These are Ray-Bans (mine are the RB5027s, I believe). They're brown and I like them very much.

1:39 AM >> Two brothers

By no random coincidence like the coca-cola thing in the elevator I'd like to point out that I have two brothers. ONE is around 25 and the OTHER around-ish 24. They are both excellent. I picked up the younger of the two today at the airport. He lives in NY. The older one I paid a visit to earlier tonight. He lives nearby.

They both have blonde hair. Mine is brown. WE all like to watch movies and Netflix is a part of all of our lives. The one who is the youngest lives in New York. Us others are a part of Atlanta.

I'd give you specific shoe sizes but that I don't know. The youngest is Dallas. He's skinny but he's been working out. Dusty, the middle, doesn't eat a lot. I eat a lot but try to balance the calories and such with athletic activities and working out and stuff.

We all love movies. Every year we have a Christmas movie that the whole family goes and sees. I think last year it was Ray. I wish this year it was Munich, but prolly Kong is more realistic. We'll see.

Bye

NOTE: These photos were taken with this new spy cam that a I own. I try and take a picture of it. It's cheap and takes shitty quality photos but it's great to have around.

NOTE: Ok, for a look at the Bros circa '84 try this brother link.

9:48 PM >> Two cokes

I've ridden the elevator in my apartment complex a couple of times tuh-night. And look what has developed. At first someone added a coke beverage cup resting on the railing. And then just hours later another has been added.

Will there be more. That we will find out.

enjoy.

11:43 PM >> crazzy bubble tea

crazy bubble tea the story coming soon.
here it is >>

the other day i was doing a run for work on buford highway which is notoriously vietnamese and mexican and such. i finished my business around lunch time. perfect. so i picked one of the handful of vietnamese restaurants to have lunch at. i ordered some grilled chicken and rice dish and had a hell of a time with the oversized chopsticks i was given. why is it that they use chopsticks anyways. as a utensil forks and spoons are so much more manageable. but i struggled through and dropped food from my mouth all over the place.

on the back of the menu they had a selection of "crazy bubble teas." i decided to order the honey dew melon one. crazy bubble teas have little tapioca pellets at the bottom of the glass that come up intermitenly with each sip. it was a lot of fun. but i still had a good deal of pellets left when i finished the drink so i decided to replenish at QT and got some rooster booster lite to mix in.

thats it.

1:49 PM >> Ed's Holiday Pumpkin Apple Cocoa Pie

Ed's Holiday Pumpkin Apple Cocoa Pie

When I made the pumpkin pie mixture it was too much for just one crust and way too little for two. Then I remembered that I had some apples in my fridge. So I chopped up some apples, soaked them in Fresca Black Cherry Citrus soda, dredged them through a sugar and pancake mix mixture, and plopped it into the pumpkin pie stuff and then baked it. Oh yeah, I added cocoa to the Libby's pumpkin pie recipe.

11:48 AM >> Ponce and his pickles

A little known fact that Ponce de Leon's favorite snack was the pickle. Inside his armored breastplate was always a pickle soaking in brine. He travelled hundreds of thousands of miles never letting the glass break or the brine spill. When he felt in his heart the pickling was complete he'd cease the march of his garrisons, marshall up camp, and he'd snack.

PdL loved his pickles.

Piacere Del Cacciatore Lasagna (Hunter's Delight Lasagna)

One layer of Venison and Spinach Spaghetti Sauce, a layer of two cheeses - ricotta and mozzarella enhanced with some herbs and stuff, and then a layer of leftover thanksgiving turkey marinated in white wine vin, basil infused olive oil, dill, roasted garlic, pepper, basil (not fresh), paprika, and then finally some Ragu and parmesean on top.

Rating: 7.64

Pictures coming soon. As well as Ed's Holiday Pumpkin pie which includes a secret experimental pumkin pie ingredient.

Stay tuned.
