Happy Holidays to all! I had a super Christmas. In the way of gifts I received
Deadwood seasons 1 and 2, a
Dremel tool kit, and art book from the MoMA in NY called
An Atlas of Drawings, a book on advertising from the 70s, a picture book called
Food Play, lots of cheesy stocking stuffers (cashews, pistachios, beef jerky, Goldfish, spices,
Airborne formula (pink grapefruit flavor), jerk seasoning, chutney), a
Gram Parsons CD boxed set, 6 pair of white socks and 2 pair of men's boot socks, and some gift certifs to Home Depot, Bed Bath Beyond, and Old Navy. I'll also be getting a
tatoo on my body as a gift from my middle bother Dusty (he's getting one from me too whenever we decide to go to a reliable tatoo place in town).
The number one super gift was a real working
deli cooler, which can be seen pictured below. Inside you'll see the product of some crock work I did today. I crocked up my test batch of turkey BBQ. Super great success. It tastes amazing, prolly a 7.99 rating for this one.
And for the record here's a picture and description of meal 12.0 >>
Test Batch BBQ served on a Dixie brand paper plate with leftover Christmas day sweet potato souffle and stuffing and a roll. Test Batch BBQ was prepared with the reserved test batch Ziploc pouch of turkey meat as well as 2 bits of dark meat, 5 slices of packaged turkey bacon (diced), sauteed onions and garlic,
Albino Skunk 2004 Secretion BBQ sauce, some apple cider vinegar, butter, a squirt of lemon, several splashes of worcestershire, and finally salt and pepper.
It's now on to the frozen reserves. Look forward to a turkey lasagna, a stuffed turkey breast, and maybe if I get my stuff together some homemade turkey sausages.
