7:59 PM >> Mustard

OK, I just moved into a new apartment and my brother/roommate threw away all of our old condiments from the fridge. That means I get to go out and buy all new ones. My friend Ben has this kick ass Jalapeno mustard. He said that it is from Publix, but I did not see it there. It is great on Hamburgers (homemade and McDonald's). I searched for it tonight and did not find it. Among the Publix brands I found a horseradish infused mustard (which I purchased), one that said bold flavored (though the ingredients were much the same as the regular), a sweet honey-ish one, and a standard mustard. They had no Jap Mustard. I was disappointed, but the horseradish one will work, cause it will have a major kick, I am sure.

In other mustard/condiment news, Quick Trip has this fancy line of mustard and spreads from there sandwich arm, the Heartland Kitchen. I went to check them out today. They taste good. I already know that. But, I wanted the scoop. I was interested in purchase. The bottles are expensive. And you won't believe it, but a serving of the Chipotle stuff has 20 grams of fat. It most definitely must be mayonnaise based. It's really tastey with the taquitos though.
