I have a birthday coming up and my parents keep hounding me to get a list together of items that I would like to have. I've sent them one list, which consisted mainly of DVDs and CDs that I would like. Pretty lame, really. If this is all they are getting me a gift certif to B&N would do just fine. Actually, I wouldn't mind having my B&N advantage card (or whatever it's called) renewed for the year. Now that I think of it, I'd also like to have my ArtsCard subscription renewed. I wish they read these posts.

But on to the point. Here is an email I sent them tonight. It is a follow up to a list of various DVDs and CDs that I was interested in having. Here's the email:

"oh, two other things i thought of for my b-day list:
1) white socks
2) blank cds
3) fun things dealing with cooking"

I can't wait to report on the spoils this year. I'll keep you all posted.
