8:17 PM >> Wine Bottle Platoon Army

Hey hey, Last SUNDAY (meaning two of them ago) I did the bottling. Then last week I applied some labels. I couldn't decide on the particular label to use so I used all of them. Each one made it onto a couple of bottles at least. Thank everyone who voted. You all win. Yeah, You! Here are all of the options that I was toying with.

This wine is great. It's quite tasty. Smooth and sweet. It's best chilled. Really yummy. And very diff from the Raisin Port. I'll post some reviews when the enthusiasts have had a chance to chime in. As well there will be some sort of tasting party and apricot eating experience when the Spring really does roll around. Enough with this bullshit fakey weather we keep having. When it's for really Spring and for sure, when there are no doubts about the weather and guarantees that we'll have no more freezing weather then we'll have the party.

PICTURED: The little army of wine bottles (pre-labels). Their leader is the corker--that contraption that looks like a Transformer.

Here's a little video SIDESHOW of my brother learning to say his name back in '82. Check it out relive the days of '82--the films, the cassette recorders, and the pajamas.

4:02 PM >> Apricots are coming.

Expected in March will be the bottling of Apricot Wine. This is my second wine that was made from a can of concentrated apricot (both juice and pieces). I am working through some label ideas right now.

Below is me taking a sample of the wine before racking and sweetening a couple of days ago. Look how dang clear it is. It clouded up a bit after I added some apricot nectar for sweetening. But hopefully that will clear out.
